python-mockldap software package provides simple mock implementation of python-ldap, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-mockldap
python-mockldap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-mockldap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-mockldap *
You will get with python-mockldap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
